Job Summary

***This position is fully remote and does not require reporting to a physical office, though it will be aligned to a designated office location for administrative and system purposes. The incumbent must be based within Arizona or Southern California.***

 

We are seeking an AgDirect Territory Managers who will be responsible for external sales efforts with farm equipment dealerships, irrigation dealerships and ag customers. Territory Managers represent the AgDirect financing program in the marketplace, developing relationships with dealer ownership and staff, equipment manufacturer, influencer representatives and AgDirect LLP Association partners. This role will require a focused balance of sales expertise, strategic marketing, credit knowledge, and relationship building skills. Territory Managers will provide leadership and serve as the primary contact for Association partners, farm credit marketplace teams, Agri-Business officers, dealer association staff, other industry representatives & influencers. Territory Managers will be experts in offering AgDirect financing products and marketing efforts inside of a team environment to accomplish team goals 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the sales process by providing financing options and sales expertise directly to end-customers (farmers/ranchers) in cooperation with dealership/manufacturer sales team, including coordination of the closing between dealer/manufacturer, customer and marketplace office staff. 
  • Create, develop and implement sales strategies that will promote further growth of the AgDirect product in Association Partner territories. 
  • Work directly with centralized Business Development, Operations and Credit Underwriting Teams.  
  • Work directly with customers, dealers, accountants, bankers and teammates to gather sufficient and accurate financials to present a credit decision.
  • Accountable for servicing and cross-selling AgDirect dealers in assigned territory with Association Partners
  • Coordinate with lending officers and Agri-Business officers to identify potential AgDirect customers. Provide officers with current AgDirect information and provide training on programs' processes and procedures, as necessary. 
  • Conduct training for AgDirect products and processes with agricultural manufacturers and equipment dealers. In addition, conduct marketing and training seminars to end-user farm and ranch customers.   
  • Coordinate local, regional, and national trade shows to develop the marketplace and generate accounts.  
  • Attend dealer association meetings and conventions, participate in manufacturer conventions and actively seek out other industry influencers to promote the AgDirect product.  

Travel Time

  • Percentage of time required to travel during the day - 70%
  • Percentage of time required to travel overnight - 40%

Education Requirements

  • Minimum 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 

Years of Experience

  • 8 + years of experience Agriculture lending or related experience in regional sales and territory management within the AgDirect, agricultural, or equipment leasing industry required 
  • 8 + years of experience Sales Experience
