Internship Program
Internship opportunities vary by year and are available throughout our eight-state footprint.
- Positions are posted in September.
- Internships begin in late May.
- Program duration is 12 weeks.
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in Association as a future employer
- Agricultural and rural residence lending: Internship opportunities in our local offices in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming

Fellows Program
The Farm Credit Fellows Program is a premier undergraduate development opportunity offered in partnership with North Dakota State University (NDSU). It is designed for high-achieving students interested in agriculture and finance; the program provides hands-on exposure to agricultural lending and the role Farm Credit plays in supporting rural communities.
Through job shadowing, leadership development, networking, and volunteer experiences, Fellows gain valuable industry insight, build professional connections, and explore career opportunities. Students who complete the program earn the distinguished Farm Credit Fellow designation and receive a $1,500 tuition grant.
