Job Summary

We are seeking a VP of Cash Management – Sales who will be responsible for advancing the Association’s cash management strategy by influencing market approaches, identifying customer segment opportunities, and guiding high quality delivery of cash management solutions through internal and external partners. Drives growth, customer experience, and operational excellence by leading the Cash Management (Business Development) team. Serves as a subject matter expert in treasury services, payment technologies, and partner capabilities while informing product enhancements and feedback loops. Provides direct leadership to Cash Management (Business Development) teammates as they assess customer needs and determine whether internal solutions or partner offerings are the best fit. Applies gearing ratio analysis and cash management operations expertise to scale delivery, strengthen team effectiveness, and ensure strong risk, compliance, and customer experience outcomes. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development Execution & Market Engagement 

  • Execute the Association’s cash management business development strategy by identifying opportunities across customer segments and coordinating with business development teammates to ensure seamless market coverage and solution delivery.  

Scalability, Analytics & Continuous Improvement 

  • Monitor industry trends in payments, banking partner capabilities, BaaS models, and cash management practices to identify process improvements and feedback loops that enhance the Association’s overall cash management strategy 

Provider Relation Management 

  • Serve as the day-to-day owner of preferred provider relationships, overseeing provider selection and onboarding, contracts, performance governance, issue resolution, and ongoing risk management. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support well- governed, competitive provider relationships, including enablement activities and comparative analysis across providers and solutions. 

Leadership Duties

  • Share leadership with team members by empowering them to make decisions.
  • Provide team leadership, shared vision, and positive communications to achieve the Associations’ vision and strategy consistent with the Associations’ core values and team principles.  
  • Establish a positive, participative, and collaborative team environment that inspires creative, high-performing, continuous learning, and engaged team members.  
  • Responsible for attracting, selecting, and on-boarding a diverse and qualified team and determining the appropriate team resource requirements to meet the Associations’ strategic direction. 
  • Complete and/or recommend salary administration for team members in accordance with Association procedures. 

Travel Time

  • Percentage of time required to travel during the day - 40%
  • Percentage of time required to travel overnight - 10%

Education Requirements

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics or Finance

Years of Experience

  • 8 + years of experience including prior leadership experience in cash management or sales or financial products and services
