VP AgDirect Operations

We are seeking a VP AgDirect Operations to provide overall direction, coaching, and strategic planning for the AgDirect Operations team. This role would be responsible for influencing business results by helping identify and lead implementation of new products, processes, and technologies while fostering and coordinating business relationships that deliver consistent business results.  

The VP AgDirect Operations will establish and lead a customer centric culture ensuring an unrivaled customer experience throughout all phases of the loan origination and loan closing process. The ideal candidate brings a background in agricultural or consumer credit with experience in leading an operations team.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

AgDirect Operations 

• Develop, implement, and manage effective workflows for Retail Installment Contracts (RICs), Loan & Lease originations and closings. 
• Serve as the primary contact for internal/external audits as well as all compliance and regulatory requirements 
• Ensure lending controls are implemented, understood, and followed to minimize fraud risk and ensure a high level of loan administration. 
• Maintain lending processes that are efficient and effective in maintaining satisfactory credit administration. 

Team Leadership

Business Partnerships 

• Work directly with all AgDirect partners and vendors to develop relationships and provide support in all areas of business operations. 
• Lead activities related to onboarding new partners and partner mergers and provide support to partners on a wide range of support requests. 
• Serve as the primary contact with respect to AgDirect products and delivery systems. 

Leasing Services 

• Lead specialized AgDirect Leasing teammates to help ensure proper execution of all AgDirect originated lease transactions. 
• Ensure all leasing activities follow the information sharing agreements between FCSA and Farm Credit Leasing. 

Quality Assurance 

• Lead quality control functions for the AgDirect team. 
• Responsible for development and implementation of adequate controls and monitoring to assure compliance with association policies, credit standards, and procedures. 
• Ensure accuracy of products and processes including procedural enhancements focusing on such things as proper functioning systems, reporting, compliance, etc. 

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, and/or Economics

Years of Experience

• 5+ years’ agricultural or consumer credit experience 

• 5+ years’ leading and supervising an operations team 

• A thorough understanding of credit management and administration in a dealer lending environment
