Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Owner to support our document storage capabilities and play a pivotal role in defining and evolving key capabilities required to deliver on the organization’s product strategies. Serve as the bridge between our development team and the customer or business stakeholders. Responsible for defining and prioritizing product features and user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and guiding the development process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Feature and User Story Development and Delivery:
- Serve as the knowledge expert to evolve and maintain our document storage capabilities through the development process.
- Actively participate in planning and delivery ceremonies, providing input on our priorities, scope, and the desired outcomes.
- Ensure that features and user stories align to the desired outcomes as defined by Product Management and the business stakeholders.
- Provide insight and defined requirements to ensure appropriate data quality and process controls are met.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve product features and functionality and ensure realization of business and product outcomes.
- Create and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on customer value and business priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align efforts to desired product outcomes.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners on epic solutioning, feature scoping, refinement, and alignment to business and product outcomes.
- Testing and Validation:
- Collaborate with quality assurance teammates to validate that developed features meet the specified acceptance criteria.
- Product Capability Launch and Feedback:
- Plan and support product capability launches, including communication and training for internal teams and customers, and product support documentation for ongoing maintenance and development.
Education Requirements
- Associate degree in business management, Finance, Credit, Lending, Agriculture or related field or equivalent work experience required.
Years of Experience
- 4+ years’ experience as a Product Owner with a strong track record of successful product delivery or business expertise through work experience paired with strong communication, attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- SAFe Certification for Product Owners preferred. Previous accounting or GL experience a plus.
