Job Summary
We are looking for an Investment and Pricing Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for delivering deep insights into loan funding, product performance, and portfolio profitability. This role involves evaluating the returns and utilization of various funding products and providing strategic recommendations for the Market Strategies Team regarding pricing spreads and product selection to align with the Association’s financial objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with Corporate Lending teammates, approved brokers, and lending institutions to purchase government guaranteed loan investments and facilitate the closing, booking, and servicing of the loan assets to ensure all requirements are met.
- Perform analysis and modeling of investment opportunities using pricing models, at both a deal level and portfolio level. Utilize internal and third-party data to better understand the risk and return of the portfolio.
- Prepare analysis and reports describing current portfolio performance against key performance indicators. Provide analysis and reports for Board reporting, Policy reporting, Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO), Asset Liability Management Status Report, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate and communicate with Corporate Lending, Loan Accounting, and other internal teams to effectively administer, maintain, and grow the portfolio.
- Responsible for routine servicing actions on purchased investments, working directly with lead lenders, brokers and guaranteeing agency to achieve appropriate customer service while preserving the guaranteed status of the investment. Coordinate with Credit and Resolutions Team on advanced servicing and performance issues of purchased investments.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of the current regulatory environment, current trends, competitive issues, and industry developments. Monitor economic trends, recommend adjustments to current investment strategy, monitor performance and stress test loan investments and the portfolio.
- Enter data into origination systems and monitor and maintain database accuracy. Provide wire transfer review and instructions for leadership approval and transfer to Pricing and/or Cash Management.
- Provide backup to the Financial Planning Analyst. As the backup, have familiarity and ability to run the Association’s asset/liability management and financial planning activities.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
Years of Experience

2+ years of experience in investment management, financial planning, asset pricing, accounting, financial analysis, portfolio and risk analysis.

Analytic and reporting skills using Microsoft SSAS Cubes, Alteryx, SQL, PowerBI or other tools preferred.

Experience utilizing Bloomberg Terminal.
